Detailed Itinerary of the 1 Day Murchison Falls National Park Safari
Your one-day trip starts with pick up from your place of residence by 6:00 am. Your tour guide will introduce him/herself to you then ensure your drive to the park.
You will have a coffee break for a few minutes at Masindi. After a coffee break, you continue with the drive to the park where you have a short game drive to the top of the falls. After visiting the top of the falls, you continue with a drive to Paraa jetty. You have lunch and take the 2:00 pm boat cruise to the bottom of the falls.
The boat cruise takes about 2 hours as you spot several wildlife species like crocodiles, hippos, and many more. There is also a possibility of seeing bird species like the Goliath Herons, African Skimmer, and many more. Following the boat cruise, you then return to the Paraa jetty where you meet your safari guide for a transfer back to Kampala. You have the drive back to Kampala arriving in the evening marking the end of your trip.
